Category Differentiation

ShowHeroes is not a consumer video streaming service or a pure creative agency. It is primarily a B2B video monetisation and contextual adtech platform serving publishers, advertisers and agencies.

ShowHeroes: About

ShowHeroes operates a hybrid adtech and media monetisation model. It helps publishers integrate video content and advertising technology, then monetises inventory through programmatic demand, contextual targeting and yield optimisation. In parallel, it serves advertisers and agencies with access to video inventory, planning tools and creative production services. Value is created by combining software, monetised media supply, proprietary content assets and managed services inside one ecosystem.

How ShowHeroes Works & Monetises

Business model analysis and core revenue streams

ShowHeroes monetises primarily through percentage take-rates and revenue shares on programmatic video advertising and publisher monetisation. Secondary revenue appears to come from SaaS-style access to its technology stack, including video delivery, contextual targeting, audience planning and yield optimisation. Additional revenue streams include licensing or packaging of editorial video content and managed creative production services through ShowHeroes Studios.

Acheron builds ad infrastructure for AI chat agents

Acheron, a new adtech initiative from Bielefeld-based Boola GmbH led by Jörg and Kay Schneider, is developing an advertising infrastructure for chat- and AI-agent interfaces. The planned product comprises three modules: an SDK that analyzes user prompts with NLP and converts contextual signals into OpenRTB-compatible data; an ad server to connect demand via PMPs and direct deals focused on the supply side; and a Seller Agent intended to communicate with Buying Agents via the Ad Context Protocol (AdCP) for future agent-to-agent trading. Early direct integrations into chat environments are reportedly in testing, but Acheron has not disclosed partner names. The company aims to bridge existing programmatic demand (OpenRTB, deals, PMPs) with emerging agentic AI interfaces while addressing targeting and brand-safety concerns specific to conversational UIs.
