Deutsche Telekom, Equativ Add Addressable Ads to MagentaTV

Deutsche Telekom's MagentaTV will enable addressable advertising from mid-2024, with programmatic trading handled by Equativ, the ad tech firm behind an integrated ad server, SSP, and DSP. The MagentaTV revamp includes live TV, on-demand content, and FAST channels, and the new capability allows major broadcasters to monetize inventory across linear and FAST channels on MagentaTV. Nowtilus will power server-side ad insertion via its Serverside.ai SSAI platform, enabling audience-based replacement of TV ads within the stream. RTL Deutschland and ProSiebenSat.1 are among the broadcasters that will be able to target their ads on MagentaTV through the partnership.
