Markt für Mobile-Werbung wächst erwartungsgemäß weiter

In 2009, the mobile advertising market continued to grow, with MAC-BVDW reporting that the number of mobile advertising campaigns nearly doubled to 885. The rise in activity coincided with about 43% more advertisers, with almost 200 companies placing mobile ads. The average number of mobile websites per campaign rose from 3.5 in H1 to 4.0 in H2, while 2007 had 1.8 and 2008 3.6. Axel Springer reported March mobile visits to mobil.bild.de approaching 11 million, a 169% year-over-year increase. AGOF Mobile had not yet provided an objective reach metric by unique users. Looking ahead, MAC/BVDW executives projected continued growth in 2010, aided by cheaper flat rates and popular devices, making mobile advertising a must.
