Gamesight

Gamesight is a gaming marketing measurement software and creator campaign services.

Analyst Perspective

Gamesight is a private gaming-focused marketing technology company that sells measurement software and managed creator marketing services to game publishers, developers and user acquisition teams. Its core platform is built around attribution, marketing measurement, ROAS analysis and campaign reporting for PC, console and web-based games, while its services business runs influencer campaigns, creator programmes and creator-led playtests. The company generates revenue through a hybrid model: enterprise SaaS licensing for its Measurement product and service fees tied to campaign execution, programme management and research engagements. Its customers are businesses in the games industry rather than end consumers, with the product set designed to help publishers understand acquisition performance, manage creator relationships and connect marketing activity to installs, purchases and in-game outcomes.

Category Differentiation

Gamesight is not a game publisher, game studio or consumer gaming platform. It is a B2B marketing technology and services company focused on measurement, creator campaigns and research for game companies.

Gamesight: About

Gamesight combines a software platform with managed services. The software side provides measurement and attribution infrastructure for game marketers, creating value through campaign tracking, analytics, data integrations and reporting. The services side uses creator discovery, campaign operations and research workflows to execute influencer and creator-led programmes for game publishers. This hybrid model allows the company to monetise both recurring platform usage and hands-on service delivery.

How Gamesight Works & Monetises

Business model analysis and core revenue streams

Gamesight uses a hybrid monetisation model. Its Measurement product is sold as enterprise SaaS, likely through subscription contracts shaped by deployment model, data usage, integrations and support scope. Its Creator Marketing, Creator Programs and Creator-Led Playtests offerings are monetised through managed-service fees, retainers and project or campaign-based charges linked to execution scope and campaign budgets.

YouTube doubles watch-hour requirement for monetization

YouTube will change public view counts on August 24, 2026 to register a view as soon as playback starts (retaining a stricter “engaged view” metric inside analytics) and will raise YouTube Partner Program (YPP) entry and retention thresholds effective February 1, 2027. New channels seeking ad and Premium revenue must still have 1,000 subscribers but now need either 8,000 qualified long‑form watch hours in the past 365 days or 20 million qualified Shorts views in the past 90 days (up from 4,000 hours or 10 million Shorts views). Shorts revenue sharing requires a rolling minimum of 10 million Shorts views every 90 days to continue payouts; dropping below pauses Shorts payouts while long‑form monetization remains available. YouTube will roll out Premium Lite (€7.99/month), increase creator revenue pool allocations (60% from Premium Lite, 30% from Premium), clarify ~55% long‑form / ~45% Shorts payout mechanics, add milestone incentives, and may run ads on non‑monetized channels.

German Gaming Study: Performance Advertising for Online and Mobile Gaming is Booming - ExchangeWire.com

The German gaming market is experiencing a boom in performance advertising for online and mobile games. BIU reports 16.5 million Germans play online games, with free-to-play titles driving growth. Social gaming reaches 235 million monthly users and 167 million daily active users, including 51 million DAU on Zynga, 10.6 million on King.com, and 7.2 million on Wooga. Acquisition costs for new users are rising, with CPA up to about €2.50 in markets like Germany. The ecosystem has spawned NEODAU, Traffic Captain, and HitFox. NEODAU originated from GAN and targets around 15 million unique users; Traffic Captain (founded in May, part of iVentureCapital) relies heavily on display advertising (about 80% of sales); HitFox launched AppLift, a mobile game affiliate network offering new players at fixed prices from €0.50, led by Taner Kaya.
