Senior Project Manager

This Senior AI Project Manager role manages customer-facing software and AI delivery projects from initiation through closure, coordinating across technical and business teams to ensure clear communication and predictable execution. It is a player-coach role that involves hands-on project management, mentoring team members, and driving delivery discipline across strategic enterprise engagements.

Leads complex, cross-functional programs from strategy through execution, driving alignment and managing dependencies across Product, Engineering, Data, UX, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Legal, Events, and external partners. Requires high autonomy, the ability to bring structure to ambiguous initiatives, and experience spanning e-commerce, media, data, and emerging AI technologies.

This role leads a fullstack engineering team within Smartly's Creative Engineering group, responsible for building and maintaining high-scale integrations with external advertising platforms. The manager will drive end-to-end delivery of channel integrations, coach team members, and ensure the team delivers reliable, scalable systems. Requires deep experience in people leadership, full software lifecycle management, and hands-on technical guidance with Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, and Kubernetes.
