Amplify Tutoring https://amplify.com/tutoring/ is seeking remote, part-time Virtual Tutors to provide small-group tutoring for students in Kindergarten through Eighth Grade during the 2026-2027 School Year. *VIRTUAL TUTORS FOR THIS ROLE MUST RESIDE WITHIN MARYLAND AND BE ABLE TO TRAVEL TO ANNAPOLIS TO COMPLETE FINGERPRINTING. WHAT TO EXPECT AS A TUTOR: Compensation: The compensation for this role is $18 per hour for delivery of tutoring sessions and $15 per hour for lesson preparation and professional development. Tutors will be employed and paid via a 3rd party staffing agency as a W2 contracted employee. Tutors are compensated for delivering each 30-minute tutoring session as well as 30 minutes of lesson preparation time for each tutoring session held. Tutors are also compensated for their initial training and ongoing professional development throughout the year. Background Checks: If selected, fingerprinting and background checks will be required. Tutors cannot work with students prior to clearance. Initial fingerprinting costs average $50-$150. Tutors are reimbursed for costs associated with fingerprinting after submission of receipts. Location: This is a remote part-time position. All candidates must physically reside within Maryland and meet U.S. employment eligibility requirements. Tutors should have a private, quiet location free from distractions with a professional background to work from. Scheduling: Tutors can request to work between 9 to 39 hours per week. Job Description: Amplify Caminos is an authentic Spanish language arts program designed for Spanish literacy development. Flexible across transitional, dual-language, and immersion programs, it pairs with Amplify CKLA to deliver a complete, research-based K–2 biliteracy solution. Amplify is seeking an Instructional Coach for Literacy with a background in teaching, coaching and/or school leadership to join our Professional Development (PD) team as a fixed-term employee for New York City Public Schools for the 2026-2027 school year. The Instructional Coach will design and lead professional development for school district teachers, administrators and/or instructional leaders across the district utilizing Amplify’s Spanish Literacy products. The Instructional Coach’s primary responsibilities will be supporting educator learning related to instruction, assessment, data use, and early literacy skills in order to increase student achievement. The Instructional Coach’s time will be structured based on NYCPS’s goals and priorities, and will include initial training in program structure and implementation, data analysis after assessment, and ongoing instructional planning. The Instructional Coach will be responsible for supporting a seamless implementation and may provide training district-wide or to individual schools after initial implementation. Coaching supports after initial implementation will be determined in partnership with the district stakeholders by implementation data, demonstrated need and district and school requests.
