Bob’s Discount Furniture Attracts Higher-Income Shoppers
Bob’s Discount Furniture reported stronger demand among households earning over $100,000 alongside solid second-quarter financial results and continued store expansion. The retailer’s net revenue rose 8.8% year-over-year to nearly $620 million, operating income increased to $78.5 million and net income to $57.8 million. Bob’s opened four stores in Q2 (including its first two in South Carolina), is on track to open 20 stores this year, and plans a new Georgia distribution center. The company is also growing e-commerce (nearly 25% yoy) and leaning into its OmniCart omnichannel tool and AI-driven personalization and scheduling to drive cross-channel conversion.
