Tripo raises $445M in Series B funding for 3D AI models
Tripo AI, a generative AI company specializing in 3D models, has raised approximately ¥3 billion ($445 million) in Series B and B+ financing rounds. Major investors include Perfect World, Yanqu Games, 37 Interactive Entertainment, ThunderSoft, BlueFocus, and SPC, with additional backing from 4399 Network, CMC Capital Partners, T-Capital, and others. The funding will support the development of generative 3D models and expand computing infrastructure for AI training and product development. This round comes just two months after a $150 million Series A3 round, reflecting the rapid iteration pace of AI companies. Tripo also launched its P2.0 model at Gamescom, a production-grade native 3D diffusion model designed for game development.
