Autodesk Signs Strategic Collaboration with AWS
Autodesk has signed a strategic collaboration agreement (SCA) with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to advance cloud-based design and manufacturing workflows. As part of the agreement, Autodesk will make select Fusion products—starting with Fusion for Product Design and Fusion Manage—available for purchase via AWS Marketplace beginning in the second quarter of Autodesk’s fiscal year. The companies said they will collaborate to leverage AWS cloud and AI capabilities to improve performance, scalability, procurement simplicity and integration across Autodesk’s cloud platform. Executives from Autodesk, AWS, and a joint customer/partner Matterport provided statements highlighting expected customer benefits and tighter ecosystem integration.
