AI Technology Strategy and Architecture Lead (m/f/d)

This role owns the technical design of Azure-first data and AI platforms, defining reusable patterns, reference architectures, and end-to-end solution concepts. The Lead Architect will spend 70-80% of their time designing solutions, building and packaging reusable patterns, and prototyping new concepts in code, with the remaining 20-30% in client-facing advisory. Requires production fluency with Terraform, deep Azure data platform experience, and hands-on AI solution design including RAG and agentic workflows.

Leads AI initiatives within the agency, driving innovation and implementation of AI solutions. Requires expertise in AI technologies and strategic thinking to guide the organization's AI adoption.

This Lead AI Engineer role drives the next generation of AI capabilities across WPP's proprietary creator, influencer, and social commerce platforms. The position combines hands-on AI engineering, product innovation, and technical leadership, focusing on developing and deploying practical AI solutions for influencer intelligence, creator workflows, and large-scale content analysis. Requires strong proficiency in Python, hands-on experience with LLMs, generative AI systems, embeddings, vector databases, and RAG, plus experience with MLOps/AIOps workflows.
