Retail Promotion Market: Kauver supermarket offers seniors 10% discount

Kauver, a regional supermarket chain specializing in international and Eastern European groceries, has introduced a regular senior discount to drive customer visits. At most Kauver locations, retirees and customers aged 67+ receive 10% off eligible purchases on the first Tuesday of each month (proof required). In Hannover the chain offers a more generous local variant: customers aged 60+ get 10% off every Tuesday. Discounts exclude already-reduced and promotional items, are not paid out in cash, and require ID or a pension pass at checkout. Kauver currently operates twelve stores across Lower Saxony, Bremen and North Rhine-Westphalia.
