Veritone Launches AI-Powered Assess for Investigations

Veritone announced Veritone Assess on June 25, 2026, an AI-powered data analysis application intended to help public sector agencies accelerate investigations, audits and compliance reviews. Assess automatically evaluates reports, witness statements, financial records and other evidentiary materials against policies and regulations to identify inconsistencies, missing information and intelligence gaps. Available immediately as a standalone app for public sector customers, Veritone plans future integration with its Veritone Investigate product and a commercial rollout later in 2026. The Cold Case Foundation is already using Assess to process decades of unstructured case files to surface previously overlooked connections and actionable leads. Key features include automated deviation analysis, event timeline generation, flexible rule sets, an intelligence summary and a customizable investigative chatbot within a private, secure architecture.
