The organisation operates a membership-based, non-profit association model. It creates value by representing communications and advertising agencies at European level, coordinating advocacy, industry standards and collaboration. Additional value is provided through professional education, academic–industry networking and awards programmes that benchmark marketing effectiveness and integrated communications. Revenue is generated mainly from recurring membership subscriptions, with incremental income from awards programmes (entry fees and related event income), paid training and workshops, and sponsorships or partner-funded initiatives. Surpluses are reinvested into industry development rather than distributed as profit.

European Association of Communications Agencies (EACA) is a Brussels-based non-profit industry association representing communications and advertising agencies and their national associations across Europe. It coordinates advocacy and outreach on policy and industry issues, organises effectiveness and integrated marketing awards, and operates education and training programmes for agency professionals and students.

The association is funded primarily through membership fees from agencies and associations, complemented by revenues from awards entry fees, events, training courses, and sponsorships. Its direct customers are member agencies and associations, agencies and brands paying to enter awards, and professionals and institutions purchasing training and education services.
