Zoom Launches ZoomMate AI Teammate
Zoom Communications announced ZoomMate, an agentic AI work surface designed to convert conversational context from meetings into executed work and deliverables. Built on Zoom’s system of action vision, ZoomMate combines agentic search, workflow orchestration, custom agents, and AI content creation; it integrates with enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Jira, Slack, ServiceNow, Google and Microsoft. Capabilities include searching across enterprise sources, proactively coordinating follow-up actions across apps, and automatically generating presentations, documents, and project plans from meeting context. ZoomMate is generally available in North America starting at $20 per user per month with included AI credits; broader regional and vertical rollouts are planned later in the year.
Lucid Adds Real-Time Visual Context to ChatGPT
Lucid Software launched the Lucid app for ChatGPT, enabling users to find, summarize, generate, edit and share Lucid diagrams and boards directly within ChatGPT. The integration allows ChatGPT to locate Lucid documents, produce summaries of complex visual work, convert conversation outputs into editable diagrams, and share assets with collaborators. Lucid says the integration is powered by its MCP server, which connects large language models with Lucid documents to securely search, fetch content, create visualizations, and enable sharing. Jamie Lyon, Chief Product & Strategy Officer at Lucid Software, described the app as a way to bring systems and context into AI tools so teams can move faster and stay aligned.
Zoom Unveils AI Suite with Avatars and Meeting Innovations
Zoom announced a suite of AI-powered features including photorealistic AI avatars for meetings, new AI productivity apps (Docs, Slides, Sheets), an AI agent builder for non-technical users, and a meeting voice translator. The AI avatars, which mimic users’ appearance and facial movements for use when participants are not camera-ready, will be available later this month; the office apps will be available in preview in the spring. Zoom is also adding deepfake-detection for meetings, expanding its AI Companion (version 3.0) to the desktop after web availability, and embedding an AI assistant into its Workvivo employee-communications app. The AI assistant can connect to services such as Slack, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Gmail, Outlook, Asana and Jira. Zoom plans developer-facing speech, vision and language APIs deployable on-premises or in the cloud, and is updating chat to surface AI summaries and insights.
