Lord & Taylor launches Heritage private-label collection

Lord & Taylor has released a private-label line called the Heritage Collection, available for now through its online marketplace and priced roughly from $100 to $1,000. Regal Brands Global, which purchased Lord & Taylor’s intellectual property in late 2024 from Saadia Group, said the launch is part of a broader plan to expand the brand via licensing, wholesale to global boutiques and possible distribution to off-price retailers. Lord & Taylor’s Chief Strategy Officer Sina Yenel described the collection as a return to the retailer’s historic owned-brand strategy and said this is only the “first chapter,” with a potential future return to smaller, local brick-and-mortar concepts. The company also said it continues to invest in proprietary technology that powers its marketplace.

Tailored Brands Files for IPO, Plans 500+ New Stores

Tailored Brands filed a registration statement for an initial public offering and plans to grow its store footprint by more than 500 locations over the next decade. The company, which operates Men’s Wearhouse, Jos. A. Bank, Moores and K&G Fashion Superstore, currently runs over 1,000 locations across its four banners and expects to open 20 stores this year, 35+ in fiscal 2027 and more than 50 annually thereafter.
