PagerDuty Boosts AI Capabilities for Smarter Operations
PagerDuty announced an expansion of its AI integration ecosystem to enhance its PagerDuty Advance agents and Operations Cloud Platform for autonomous operations. The company added more than 30 AI partners across 11 categories to a public, searchable integrations directory, building on an existing foundation of more than 700 integrations. The ecosystem uses a Model Context Protocol (MCP) to enable interoperability via three connection paths (partner MCP servers, PagerDuty MCP Server, and direct API integrations). PagerDuty says the integrations power automated triage with observability context, pre-commit risk scoring in IDEs, LLMOps and agent governance, and agentic cloud operations for automated remediation. The announcement highlights marquee partnerships and plugins with Anthropic (Claude Code), Cursor, and LangChain/LangSmith to demonstrate pre-commit risk analysis, operational context in developer workflows, and incident-response agent templates.
AIOps on AWS: Observability, Tools, Dev Experience
This technical blog — the third in a 3-part series about the author’s DevOps and AI on AWS specialization — explains AIOps (AI for IT operations), contrasts monitoring and observability, and outlines how AIOps augments observability by automating anomaly detection, root-cause analysis, prediction, and remediation. It highlights AWS AIOps features including CloudWatch Anomaly Detection, AWS X-Ray Insights, and AWS DevOps Guru (reactive and proactive insights), and notes Amazon Q Developer’s code security scanning for earlier-phase developer tooling. The post frames AIOps as a way to correlate logs, metrics and traces to accelerate troubleshooting and reduce manual effort, and closes with personal reflections on the certification journey.
Operational Reliability Layer for Autonomous Agents
A developer blog post by Ramagiri Tharun (published 2026-05-22) argues that reliable autonomous agents require a mundane but critical operational layer beyond model prompts. The author shares a real pipeline snapshot (scheduled jobs, recent errors, local learning file state), describes common production failure modes (expired tokens, missing provider keys, dead cron jobs), and prescribes a seven-step pre-run checklist (check scheduled jobs, check recent failures, read learning files, confirm credentials, generate original content, publish via APIs, save outputs/IDs). The post includes a short Python/CLI health-check example and promotes an engineering habit: verify environment and infrastructure before trusting agent outputs. The piece frames “operational discipline” as the next major agent skill that turns demos into infrastructure.
