DAZN and Matchroom Extend Exclusive Boxing Deal Five Years

DAZN and Matchroom Boxing have signed a new five-year exclusive partnership in the U.K. and U.S., guaranteeing more than 30 fight nights per year and expanding the agreement into Australia. The expansion leverages DAZN’s recent acquisition of the Foxtel Group to bring seven major Matchroom events to Kayo Sports and Foxtel platforms in 2026. The deal aims to consolidate premium boxing rights on streaming platforms as legacy broadcasters have receded, and the pact will begin with a Mexican unification bout between Eduardo ‘Sugar’ Nunez and Emanuel Navarrete on February 28, 2026. Matchroom’s marquee fighters — including Anthony Joshua, Katie Taylor and Dmitry Bivol — are highlighted as key content drivers for subscriber retention and global boxing audience growth.
