Ugg Revives Fluff Yeah Sandal with Sci-Fi Flair!
Ugg has reintroduced its popular Fluff Yeah sandal for Spring 2026 in response to continued consumer demand. The limited-time relaunch is supported by a campaign starring comedian and actress Atsuko Okatsuka, featuring a sci‑fi–inspired ad filmed on a handcrafted miniature Los Angeles set built by Tastebuds Studio. Ugg North America marketing VP Lindsey Dashoff said the brand intentionally avoided generative AI and digital tools to emphasize the tactile nature of the product. A Venice Beach pop-up ran March 18–19. The revived sandal will be sold for a limited time via Ugg’s website and select retail partners including Urban Outfitters, Foot Locker, and Nordstrom. The campaign assets were shot by photographer Amber Asaly and will appear across digital, social and out‑of‑home placements in New York and Los Angeles.
Ugg Recruits Art Students as College Ambassadors
Ugg has launched a college ambassador program for its back-to-school campaign, tapping nine students from art and design schools across the U.S. to style and promote products such as the Ultra Mini Bailey Bow. The students will create social posts on behalf of the brand, appear on Ugg product pages, and emphasize Ugg’s apparel offerings to boost awareness among young consumers. The campaign is part of Ugg’s effort to position itself as a broader style destination for Gen Z and college audiences. The piece was published by Modern Retail on August 18, 2026.
Canada Goose launches 'Natural Intelligence' brand platform
Canada Goose launched a new marketing platform called “Natural Intelligence” in July 2026 to reconnect the brand and its audience with the natural world. The campaign began with a short video shared to the brand’s social channels featuring dramatic natural phenomena and people in extreme environments, and will run across Instagram and TikTok through the end of 2026 and likely into 2027. Victoria Freeman, Canada Goose’s senior vice president of global marketing, said the platform aims to deepen the brand’s storytelling by spotlighting field experts (a mushroom biologist, a storm chaser — Paige Vincent — and a firefly researcher) and regional experiential activations like trips to Haida Gwaii and a Tuscan solstice ritual. The company cited a September 2025 British Columbia tourism report saying 46% of people feel a “nature deficit” in media and culture as background for the push.
