TNA+ Launches Monthly VIP Plan with PPVs
TNA Wrestling launched a new premium TNA+ VIP membership that, for the first time, offers a monthly option including all of the company’s pay-per-view events. The VIP Monthly Membership costs $19.99 per month and includes every TNA PPV, the full TNA+ library, early access to select programming, podcasts, VIP-only content, merchandise offers and ticket opportunities; Bound For Glory on October 11 is included. TNA also offers an annual VIP plan priced at $129.99 (introductory $99.99 with promo code TNA2026). The move is part of a broader streaming strategy: TNA content appears on Pluto TV, Roku and Samsung TV Plus, the company added a free TNA+ tier last year, and it has a multi-year distribution deal with Claro Sports across 17 territories in Mexico and Latin America.
ntv launches dedicated 'ntv Sport' online vertical
RTL Deutschland has launched a dedicated sports news vertical called "ntv Sport" as part of a push to strengthen ntv's sports coverage. Announced on 8 June 2026, the new vertical will be rolled out across ntv platforms and the ntv website and is positioned to run alongside breaking news and business coverage. RTL says ntv Sport will emphasize a strong free video offering — including highlights, expert analysis and selected live broadcasts — by leveraging sport rights within the RTL group, including content from Sky after the Sky acquisition. RTL executives said the launch aims to grow audience reach and create additional distribution opportunities for RTL+ and Sky Sport, timed ahead of the football World Cup.
TNT Sports Could Move to Free CBS over-the-Air TV
Following the completion of the Paramount-Warner Bros. Discovery merger, forming Skydance, CBS is poised to potentially redistribute TNT Sports programming to its free over-the-air network. CBS Sports president David Berson will lead the combined sports group after TNT Sports chief Luis Silberwasser's departure. Industry speculation centers on shifting high-value events like the Stanley Cup Final and other TNT/TBS properties to CBS to increase reach, as NHL commissioner Gary Bettman advocated. However, pre-merger carriage agreements with distributors like Comcast, DirecTV, and YouTube TV may complicate moves due to exclusivity-based fees. No immediate changes are planned, but the merger positions CBS to broaden free access to premium sports for antenna-only viewers.
