This AI Engineer role in Kuala Lumpur is a hands-on builder responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI and Generative AI solutions for clients. The role involves building and deploying AI/ML solutions from PoCs to production, leveraging LLMs, RAG, embeddings, and AI agents, and working with cloud platforms like GCP, Azure, or AWS. The ideal candidate has strong Python skills, experience with ML/AI frameworks, and familiarity with MLOps/LLMOps practices.

This role partners directly with enterprise customers to design, build, and deploy AI systems that deliver measurable business outcomes. The engineer works hands-on in code to build prototypes, evaluation harnesses, reference implementations, integrations, and production accelerators, making decisions across models, agents, retrieval, tools, data, reliability, observability, latency, cost, safety, security, and governance. They also diagnose complex implementation challenges, help customers progress from prototypes to production, and create reusable architectures and playbooks.
