Quantum Computing Market: ParityQC Launches Twine Optimizer for IBM Quantum

Innsbruck-based quantum startup ParityQC launched its Parity Twine Optimizer, a compiler that translates computational problems into quantum computer instructions with fewer steps. The technology set a world record for executing the Quantum Fourier Transform on IBM quantum hardware. The product is now listed in the IBM Qiskit Functions Catalog, available to IBM Quantum Network members with a 30-day trial. It is one of only seven third-party offerings in the catalog. The compiler reduces gate count and circuit depth, particularly for two-qubit gates, and eliminates SWAP operations. It supports IBM's Heron and Nighthawk chip layouts. ParityQC claims it is the most efficient quantum compiler for larger, more densely connected problems. The company aims to make quantum computers more practical for industrial optimization tasks like route planning and portfolio composition.
