Staff Data Platform Engineer

Erforderlich sind fundierte Kenntnisse in verteilten Systemen, PostgreSQL, Kafka, CDC, Kubernetes und der Entwicklung von Entwickler-Tools; direkte Debezium-Erfahrung ist von Vorteil.

This role owns and maintains AWS cloud accounts and Databricks workspaces for the Data Labs group, optimizing pipeline executions and modernizing the tech stack to reduce tech debt. The engineer will manage infrastructure-as-code, containerized environments, and distributed orchestrators, while supporting data analysts and data scientists in delivering custom client data products. Requires 4+ years of experience in data infrastructure engineering with strong expertise in cloud environments and big data tools.

Design and build scalable data infrastructure to support Minerva's AI models and consumer intelligence platform. Work on large-scale data pipelines, data quality, and data governance to enable advanced analytics and machine learning.

This role independently owns production data pipelines and platform components at TB-scale within impact.com's Data Analytics Group. The engineer designs and builds scalable batch and streaming pipelines using Spark, Kafka, and Pub/Sub, integrating diverse sources into BigQuery, and owns the reliability, performance, and SLOs of their domain. Responsibilities include infrastructure tuning, incident response as a Tier 2 on-call responder, implementing security and governance, and mentoring associate engineers.

This role leads AI security and security assurance initiatives for Medallia's product security team, focusing on securing AI/ML systems within the experience management platform. The engineer will conduct security assessments, drive compliance, and collaborate with engineering teams to embed security best practices across the product lifecycle.

This leadership role oversees product management for Medallia's Experience Cloud and shared services, defining product strategy, roadmap, and execution for the core experience management platform. The director will align cross-functional teams, drive innovation, and deliver value to enterprise customers.
