    CH Media and Digris Acquire SRG Music Radio Stations

    Swiss public broadcaster SRG has approved the sale of its three non-stop music radio stations. Radio Swiss Pop will be acquired by CH Media effective January 5, 2027, while Radio Swiss Classic and Swiss Jazz will be taken over by Digris AG in July 2027. Both buyers commit to maintaining the stations' musical and content direction for at least two years, including at least 50% Swiss music content and distribution via DAB+, streaming, and cable. The sale is part of SRG's 'Enavant' transformation project to address budget cuts. CH Media, with the addition of Radio Swiss Pop, will operate five music specialty stations. The purchase price remains confidential. The deal follows a prior failed attempt in 2020-2021 when BNJ Suisse backed out.
