    Stefan Ottlitz, formerly co-CEO at Der Spiegel and ex-editor-in-chief of Süddeutsche.de, has been appointed Chief Digital Officer at Burda and will take responsibility for the Focus brand family. Burda is also merging BurdaForward into Burda Verlag; Daniel Steil, co-CEO of BurdaForward, will leave the company on August 1 after 15 years. Wiebke Meeder (from Handelsblatt) joins as Chief Revenue Officer. The reorganization brings several senior leadership changes across Burda's media operations.
