Liqui Design
Liqui Design is a commercial interior, branding and exhibition design studio for businesses.
Analyst Perspective
Liqui Design is a UK-based commercial design studio focused primarily on interior design, fit-out, exhibition environments, branding and related web and marketing services. Its work is aimed at business clients such as corporates, commercial property owners, hospitality operators, retailers, developers and event participants. The company appears to operate as a managed-service consultancy rather than a software vendor, combining design strategy, project management, fabrication coordination and installation delivery. The firm generates revenue through bespoke project fees, design-and-build contracts and likely procurement or fabrication margin on furniture, lighting and fit-out components. Its value proposition is the integration of physical space design, brand development and experiential execution within one delivery model, supported by in-house manufacturing capability according to the product evidence.

Key insights about Liqui Design
Category Differentiation
This is a commercial design and fit-out studio, not a software, adtech or martech platform. It should be distinguished from digital-only design agencies because its core offer includes physical interiors, build and exhibition delivery.
Liqui Design: About
The company runs a project-based professional services model. It wins commercial design assignments, scopes each engagement individually, and delivers value through concept development, design, project management, fit-out execution, exhibition build, branding and digital work. Revenue is created by combining consultancy fees with executional delivery, including build contracts and product procurement tied to client projects.
How Liqui Design Works & Monetises
Business model analysis and core revenue streams
Monetisation is primarily service fee and project contract based. Clients pay bespoke fees for interior design, branding, web and experiential work, with additional revenue from fit-out delivery, installation, fabrication and procurement margin on furniture and lighting. There is no evidence of recurring software subscription revenue; pricing appears customised by project scope, complexity and delivery geography.

Data ‘Wildcatting’
Data ‘Wildcatting’ explores how publishers can treat data as a valuable, speculative asset, similar to oil prospecting. Noah Jessop, head of data at Liquid, outlines the data landscape—mapping users across emails, cookies, and device IDs; ad targeting; and panel data—as pathways to value for digital advertisers. The piece cites a high-profile example: Facebook’s acquisition of a VPN firm with access to 5 million users’ mobile usage patterns, illustrating how data assets enable deeper monitoring and engagement. It advises publishers to begin wildcatting by auditing what they can collect, what is already accessible, and what they can compute. It highlights DMPs Krux, Lotame, and Oracle’s BlueKai as providers of first-party data segments for sale and argues that data has zero marginal cost to sell, making unique data the differentiator in an increasingly commodity-like market. The column concludes that the data markets remain the wild west of drilling for data.

Publishers Clearing House (PCH) and its digital arm Liquid have expanded their ad tech footprint by acquiring CommandIQ, adding marketing automation, segmentation, predictive analytics, reporting and attribution. Terms were not disclosed. The deal complements PCH’s existing stack — a homegrown data-management platform and ad-serving plus a demand-side platform via the Plethora acquisition — with integrations to AppNexus, LiveRamp and Datalogix. PCH says its first-party ecommerce and social data underpin customer profiles representing about 43% of US adults (roughly 100 million profiles) and more than 16 million unique monthly visitors. Former CommandIQ CEO Noah Jessop has joined Liquid as head of data and will lead a new San Francisco office; about 10 CommandIQ employees joined the deal, with Jessop the only one staying, an acqui-hire vibe. Advertisers and agencies working with PCH include OMD, Saatchi & Saatchi, and Machine Zone.
