Jetpack

Jetpack is a rich media ad platform and studio for publishers and agencies.

Analyst Perspective

Jetpack is a private US advertising technology company focused on rich media advertising for publishers, agencies and brand advertisers. Its core product is a proprietary platform that combines HTML5 creative authoring, ad serving, campaign tracking and cross-device delivery, allowing clients to build and run high-impact digital ad units without modifying publisher page code. It also offers a managed Studio service for clients that want creative ideation, production, trafficking and deployment support. The company makes money through a dual model of software access and services. The platform creates value by unifying creative production and delivery in one workflow, while the Studio adds service revenue and helps clients without in-house rich media capabilities. Its customer base is business-facing rather than consumer-facing, with demand centred on digital advertising execution across web and in-app environments.

Jetpack: About

Jetpack operates a B2B AdTech model built around proprietary rich media infrastructure plus optional managed services. The platform allows publishers, agencies and advertisers to create, serve and measure interactive ad units through a single system, reducing workflow fragmentation between creative production and campaign delivery. Alongside the software layer, Jetpack Studio provides outsourced creative and technical execution, which both monetises service demand and supports adoption of the platform.

How Jetpack Works & Monetises

Business model analysis and core revenue streams

Jetpack monetises through a combination of SaaS-style platform access and managed service fees. The Jetpack Platform is positioned as self-service advertising technology, implying software licensing or usage-based commercial terms tied to creative tools, ad serving and reporting. Jetpack Studio adds project-based or retainer-style revenue for creative production, technical build, campaign execution and related support.

WP Multitool Adds Plugin Performance Score

WP Multitool 1.1.19 introduces a new Plugin Performance Score module that adds a Performance column to the WordPress Plugins admin page. For each installed plugin the column shows a deterministic score (0–100), PHP memory usage, and number of database queries based on benchmark data from makewpfast.com. Benchmarks are run in isolated Docker containers on clean WordPress installs (one plugin active at a time). The plugin ships with a static ~220 KB bundled benchmark data file (cached by PHP opcache) and covers about 5,000 plugins; if a plugin is not in the dataset a dash is shown. The feature is enabled by default and the WP Multitool package includes 14 modules.

Chrome 144 Boosts WebGPU with Major Updates and Optimizations

Chrome 144 introduces multiple WebGPU updates: two WGSL language extensions (subgroup_id and uniform_buffer_standard_layout), a careful rollout of WebGPU on Linux starting with Intel Gen12+ GPUs (using Vulkan while Chromium remains on OpenGL), and performance optimizations that make writeBuffer() and writeTexture() up to 2x faster in some cases. The release notes also highlight Dawn-related updates, including an Android alpha of Kotlin bindings (androidx.webgpu) delivered via Jetpack. The WGSL extensions include guidance for feature detection (navigator.gpu.wgslLanguageFeatures) and recommends using requires-directives in shader code. The blog post notes subgroup_id is emulated on the D3D backend and documents further Dawn commit details.
