Thomas Schönen Returns as Philips Marketing Director DACH

Thomas Schönen has rejoined Dutch technology company Philips as Marketing Director for the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). He will lead marketing and brand management across the German-speaking markets. Schönen previously served as Philips DACH Chief Marketing Officer from 2013 to 2019 and announced his return on LinkedIn. Before rejoining Philips he worked as a consultant in Sports Health & Brand Solutions and began his career with Beiersdorf AG in Hamburg, where he spent 15 years including a role as Global Media Director. The article notes Philips' post-restructuring focus on healthcare, its business divisions (Diagnosis & Treatment, Connected Care, Personal Health), its continued consumer products like razors and electric toothbrushes, and that Philips works with media agency OMD (example 2025 campaign using Linear-TV, CTV and DOOH).
