EnerCube and Panasonic Partner for Commercial Heat Pump Cubes
Salzburg-based energy technology company EnerCube has announced a strategic partnership with electronics group Panasonic. Together, they will launch a new, more powerful series of prefabricated heat pump heating units (Cubes) designed for large commercial, industrial, and municipal buildings. The partnership covers both technology and sales: EnerCube will integrate Panasonic's Big Aquarea M series air-source heat pumps into its Cubes, while remaining responsible for the development and production of the complete units. The new series delivers up to 180 kilowatts of heat pump capacity, allowing larger buildings to be supplied with a single unit. The partnership was unveiled at the Expo Real real estate fair in Munich, with market launch planned for Germany and Austria from 2027. EnerCube will gain access to new customer groups, and Panasonic adds prefabricated heating units to its portfolio.
