Together, data, workflows, business logic, actions, and governance are securely accessible to power agentic experiences.

Salesforce and Anthropic expanded their strategic partnership with Claudeforce, a plugin that embeds Salesforce CRM data and actions inside Anthropic’s Claude. The initial 'Salesforce in Claude' release surfaces 37 prebuilt sales skills so sellers can query CRM data, compose emails, update records, review deals and run governed workflows conversationally without opening the Salesforce UI. Claudeforce is in a limited pilot and will enter an open preview next month (September), with additional skills planned later this year. The integration is built on Salesforce’s Headless 360/AIforce stack (MCP servers, APIs and CLI tools), preserves existing Salesforce permissions and business rules, routes actions through Salesforce, and makes Claude the default model in Slack within the Salesforce Trust Boundary via Amazon Bedrock. Billing shifts to headless/API consumption (customers pay Salesforce for Claudeforce activity and contract separately with Anthropic for Claude).
