Italian audio startup Audioboost expands to Germany
Italian audiotech startup Audioboost is expanding its operations into Germany. Founded in 2021 in Apulia by Cristina Pianura and Enrico Ballerini, the company provides a text-to-speech platform with its own CMS that automatically converts written articles into spoken content and plays them via a player on publisher websites. Deutscher Podcast Award Voting Begins; ARD Launches Free Luigi

Threads tests podcast teasers with transcripts
Threads (Meta) is testing a new podcast teaser format that embeds short audio clips with synchronized transcripts directly in posts. The feature lets podcast hosts highlight compelling moments from an episode; listeners can follow the spoken text without sound and follow links to the full episode on platforms such as Spotify or Apple Podcasts. Threads head Connor Hayes confirmed the test and referenced a demo post by the podcast 7PM in Brooklyn featuring NBA player AJ Dybantsa. The article notes that Threads previously experimented with podcast previews in late 2025 and added a podcast section to some profiles; Hayes said further podcaster features are planned.
