Fleuret AI Raises €4M for AI Offensive Cybersecurity
French cybersecurity startup Fleuret AI raised €4 million in a pre-seed funding round to develop its platform for automating penetration testing using agentic AI. The round was led by RAISE Ventures, with participation from Auriga Cyber Ventures, Wind, Better Angle, and business angels. Founded by Yanis Grigy (CEO) and Augustin Ponsin (CTO), the platform aims to turn penetration testing from a one-off audit into a continuous security process. It uses two AI agents, Emile and Champollion, to map environments, identify vulnerabilities, and demonstrate exploitability. The company targets the European market, addressing sovereignty concerns by operating on European infrastructure. The funds will be used to expand the team and accelerate platform development.
AIR raises $50M to vet AI agent skills and add-ons
AI security startup AIR emerged from stealth with $50 million in seed funding across two rounds. The company offers a platform that discovers AI agents running inside enterprises, continuously vets the skills, plug-ins, and MCP servers they use, and blocks those that fail security criteria. The first round of $10 million was led by Sequoia, the second of $40 million by Greenoaks, with participation from Swish, Netz, and several angel investors. AIR claims over 20 customers, including large enterprises in regulated industries like financial services and pharmaceuticals. The funding will be used for hiring researchers and expanding go-to-market efforts in the U.S. and Europe.
Hackuity Raises $19M for AI-Driven Vulnerability Management
Lyon-based cybersecurity firm Hackuity has secured $19 million (€16 million) in funding to enhance its AI-powered vulnerability management platform and expand internationally. The round was led by Forgepoint Capital International with participation from existing investors Bright Pixel, Bpifrance, and Seventure Partners, bringing total funding to $38 million (€32 million). Hackuity's Vulnerability Operations Center (VOC) aggregates findings from over 130 security tools, prioritizing remediation based on business risk, and orchestrates actions across security, IT, and engineering teams. The funding will support product innovation, AI capabilities, and growth in Europe and Asia, addressing the surge in AI-discovered vulnerabilities—with around 350,000 known CVEs, a 20% year-on-year increase. Customers include ENGIE and BPCE, with Hackuity also selected by Orange Cyberdefense.
