Digitalswitzerland Appeals to Parliament for Digital Infrastructure Funds
Digitalswitzerland, the Swiss digital economy umbrella organization, held a forum in Bern on September 16, 2026, attended by around 200 representatives from politics, business, and science. They issued a call to parliament to secure funding for central digital projects during budget deliberations. CEO Franziska Barmettler stressed that investments in electronic identity, data standards, and healthcare digitalization are non-negotiable.
