Senior Software Engineer - Data Plane

Develops and maintains GraphAware Hume, a platform for applied graph-based AI and machine learning. Focuses on building scalable, production-grade graph algorithms and ML pipelines.

This role leads the design and construction of OpenAI's core data pipelines and canonical datasets, integrating user event data into the data warehouse to power analytics, safety systems, and product growth metrics. The engineer will collaborate with research, product, and finance teams to build robust, fault-tolerant data ingestion and processing systems, requiring deep expertise in distributed processing frameworks like Spark and Flink.

This role focuses on building intuitive and responsive user interfaces for Hume's products, including the VoiceEQ platform and developer tools. The engineer will work on frontend architecture, ensuring seamless user experiences for AI-powered applications.

Bridge research and engineering to implement cutting-edge AI models for emotion understanding. Work on model development, experimentation, and productionization of research findings.

This role focuses on building and scaling microservices that power Hume AI's emotion understanding and voice AI platform. The engineer will work on core backend infrastructure, ensuring high performance and reliability for APIs that measure 600+ dimensions of expression in 50+ languages.
