Hiasynth raises angel funding for synthetic model of Europe's population

Hiasynth, an AI startup, has raised an angel funding round led by Further Than Capital. The company built a synthetic model of Europe's population at 1:1 scale, containing half a billion personas across 37 countries, each with over 600 attributes that co-vary realistically. The model is queryable by AI through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), enabling any company to analyze European consumer markets without traditional research projects. Prague-based startup EquiLibre Technologies has closed a Series A funding round led by European early-stage investor Creandum, marking the venture capital firm's single largest investment to date. The funding elevates EquiLibre's valuation to over $500 million. Founded in 2022 by three former Google DeepMind researchers, the startup builds reinforcement learning AI agents that trade billions of dollars daily on major financial markets, including the Nasdaq and S&P 500. Having previously utilized its technology in the cryptocurrency space, EquiLibre transitioned to traditional financial markets last year. The newly raised capital will primarily be allocated toward purchasing computing power to scale its operations.
