    Springer Nature announced it is divesting its consumer media businesses, selling Scientific American to LabX Media Group and Spektrum der Wissenschaft to GeraNova Bruckmann. The strategic transaction allows the company to focus on its core publishing business in research, health, and education. Scientific American's sale is expected to complete on 24 June 2026, while the Spektrum der Wissenschaft sale is subject to regulatory approval and expected to close later in the year. Financial terms were not disclosed. Together, the two publications contributed approximately €25 million to Springer Nature group revenues in 2025. The transactions will not affect 2026 guidance and are expected to be slightly accretive to adjusted operating profit in 2027.
