    ZDF to Air 'The Assassin' Starring Hawes & Highmore

    ZDF will air the thriller series The Assassin in mid-September, broadcasting the first two episodes on linear TV and placing the remaining four episodes exclusively on its streaming portal. The broadcaster partnered with Prime Video—where the series premiered about a year earlier—to bring the show to German audiences.
