Banijay Germany integrates All3Media units under new Filmpool United structure
Following the global merger of Banijay Entertainment and All3Media, Banijay Germany, led by Marcus Wolter, is integrating the German All3Media subsidiaries Filmpool Entertainment, Filmpool Fiction, South & Browse, and a 50% stake in Magic Connection. The combined German operations generated a pro-forma revenue of €407 million in 2025, with Banijay Germany contributing €312 million and All3Media Deutschland €95 million. The All3 units are bundled under a new brand, Filmpool United, led by Vittorio Valente, who reports directly to Wolter but is not on the board. Wolter emphasizes leveraging synergies and maintaining strong brands, while the future of the separate digital agency Little Dot Studios remains unclear. Banijay Germany is also expanding beyond traditional TV production into branded content and live entertainment, with over 20% of revenue now coming from non-classical production.

ZDF to Air 'The Assassin' Starring Hawes & Highmore
ZDF will air the thriller series The Assassin in mid-September, broadcasting the first two episodes on linear TV and placing the remaining four episodes exclusively on its streaming portal. The broadcaster partnered with Prime Video—where the series premiered about a year earlier—to bring the show to German audiences. Keeley Hawes stars as a retired hitwoman and Freddie Highmore plays her son. The series was produced by Two Brothers Pictures (an All3Media subsidiary) with scripts by Harry and Jack Williams, Krissie Ducker, Hamish Wright and Selina Lim, and direction by Lisa Mulcahy and Daniel Nettheim. ZDF will also add the crime two-parter Inspector Ikmen – Tod in Istanbul, starring Haluk Bilginer, to its September schedule.

Banijay Integrates All3Media Germany; Leadership Reshuffle
Banijay Germany has integrated the remaining All3Media labels in Germany into a new umbrella brand, Filmpool United. Filmpool Entertainment, Filmpool Fiction, South&Browse and the agency Magic Connection will operate under Filmpool United inside Banijay Germany. Vittorio (Vito) Valente, long-time Filmpool chief and most recently CEO of All3Media Germany, will lead Filmpool United. Separately, Arno Schneppenheim is appointed managing director of Endemol Shine Germany (effective September 1) and will join the Banijay board as CCO; Fabian Tobias leaves Endemol Shine Germany to join ITV Studios Germany. Katrin Stefanović will become sole managing director of Banijay Productions. The merged production group says it produces over 4,500 hours of entertainment annually in the German-speaking market.
- All remaining All3Media labels in Germany (Filmpool Entertainment, Filmpool Fiction, South&Browse and agency Magic Connection) will be combined under the Filmpool United brand as part of Banijay Germany.
