BV Sells Majority Stake in CallTower to Court Square

BV Investment Partners announced the majority sale of CallTower, a managed cloud communications and contact center provider, to Court Square Capital Partners. BV and CallTower management will retain minority stakes. CallTower, headquartered in South Jordan, Utah, operates in over 80 countries with offices in Rochester, London, Montreal and the Philippines, and offers UCaaS, collaboration and CCaaS solutions integrated with Microsoft Teams, Webex by Cisco and Zoom. Since BV’s 2023 investment, CallTower expanded partnerships, routes to market and acquired Inoria to broaden its offerings. CallTower CEO Bret England and BV partner Justin Garrison commented on the company’s growth and future opportunities under the new majority owner.

Claude Integrations: Connect Apps & Tools

Anthropic's Claude now supports integrations, enabling quick connections to external tools via a remote Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server. This lets Claude link with apps such as Zapier, Atlassian, Asana, PayPal, Cloudflare, Stripe, Intercom, and Square, with developers able to create their own integrations. Documentation promises setup in about 30 minutes. The Deep Research feature now auto-detects when and how long Claude should search and will ground reports with explicit sources. Web Search is expanded to include web sources, Google Workspace data, and integration-connected apps. Claude can function as a co-manager by analyzing task statuses, order histories, and To-dos, and can generate meeting briefs, product records, debugging steps, and content summaries. Access is in beta for Max, Team, and Enterprise users, with Pro users expected to gain access soon; paid Web Search is worldwide. The update is compared to Google Gemini and ChatGPT’s research features for context.

Connatix Expands UK, Emphasizes Contextual Targeting

Connatix, a video technology provider for publishers and advertisers, opened its first UK office as part of an international expansion following a prior investment from Court Square Capital Partners. The UK presence has existed for about 2.5 years, with annual growth of 200–300% during that period. In an interview, Connatix President and Chief Revenue Officer Jennifer Chen described competition among online video players as driven by performance, service, ecosystem partnerships, and a long-term approach. The company has positioned itself as cookieless and argues that contextual targeting will be a key currency in a post-cookie world, citing a 17% rise in viewability and a 13% increase in interaction when contextual alignment occurs. Connatix plans further European expansion (Germany, France) and beyond, using the UK as a hub, and references relationships with AccuWeather (UK arm) and LADbible. Localization, data-center considerations, GDPR compliance, and consent management in bidstreams are highlighted as expansion prerequisites.
